[2024] InvestKL

The preliminary session started with brief introduction about InvestKL and the objectives of the discussion which is chaired by UMILO Officer, Ms. Nurul Azwa Hussein. Through the session, InvestKL mentioned that they will organized UM - InvestKL Tour tentatively scheduled on September 2025. Research Cluster was task to identify few labs or research facilities to participate in the event.

The event was officiated by Professor Dr. Yvonne Lim Ai Lian, Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Universiti Malaya at Auditorium, Research Management & Innovation Complex (RMIC). It started with a brief introduction from MNC company that participated in this tour, as followed:

• Commers Trade Services (Germany)
• AXA (France)
• Orange (France)
• Kering (France)
• Kone (France)

All representatives from MNC company then visited selected research lab / facilities / project at the end of the event. There are;

• Cement Free Geopolymer Concrete House  (Project PI, Prof Dr. Ubagaram Johnson)
• Centre for Research in Industry 4.0 (CRI4.0) Lab
